In a surprise move, Defiance Hold was recently named as the site for the High Temple of Lightshroud by High Priestess Yolanda "Lady T" Thompson. This tiefling house is led by the spectre Edensbane, son of the spectre knight Eligos. Eligos (aka Eligar aka Abigor), rides the dragon-winged horse, the Steed of Abigor, and is a servant of Glasya. Edensbane uses a gate in the Donjon Infernale linked to hell to bring in a constant supply of legion devils to do battle with the forces of the Profane Wastes. Although primarily engaged with the demonic forces, the Legions of Eligos are officially at war with Gwalchmei's Adherents. The two forces are known to skirmish when they cross paths. |
The Profane Wastes | |
Capital: | none |
Leader: | unknown |
Gov't: | none |
Temples: | Xerces, exact location unknown |
A rift leading into the abyss has caused an outporing of weak demonsto overrun the northesternmost of the three East Islands. However, recent reports of more powerful demons appearing occasionally has caused alarm in neighboring lands. A pair of isthmi connect the Profane Wastes to the mainland of Greater Pariveda. Each of the slightly submerged land bridges lies on average two feet below the surface of the water. This allows the demonic hordes to simply wade across, or even use crude rafts and canoes. However, the shores of Pariveda are well-guarded, with Gwalchmei's Adherents and the Legions of Eligos halting the demons' advance. |

S'lashka longboats sail to the coast of the Profane Wastes, harvesting demons as food until their boats sit low in the water. Devils and holy knights who have tangled with the S'lashka have found that they are also an acceptable part of the S'lashka diet. |
Tiladrial | |
Capital: | Fantalia |
Leader: | Eldai Estariza XXXVII (Eladrin) |
Gov't: | Monarchy |
The unbroken line of Estarizan kings has ruled the dominant kingdom in the East Islands for millienia. Little is known about Tiladrial, but the forests of the east island of Tiladrial are said to blur into planar forests if one travels in deep enough. Most eladrin choose to stay on the East Islands their whole lives, but following the Quanthosk'alys Wars, Eladrin explorers and traders have started to appear. Eladrin cities shift into the feywild at night. Recent reports of non-eladrin cities on the coastline shifting as well have perplexed eladrin scholars. |
