Gunblade

The gunblade is the latest in technology being employed by SQUADRON. A gunblade is typically a massive sword (sharp on one side), with a musket barrel running the length of the back of the blade. The sword hilt is also the stock of the musket. The musket's firing mechanism is also relocated to the stock.

Namesake: Sage Eric Noah, one of the Six Legendary Heroes and mentor to Magus Runestar. Magdalene (Maggie) Runestar Namesake: Magus Runestar, her father. Noen Runestar Namesake: Noenhefarok, one of the Six Legendary Heroes who died during the first showdown with Magraravich. Oshejra Not a child of Magus and Taishou, Oshejra is the result of divine conception enacted on the already pregnant Taishou by Shayla, Kyrth goddess of fire. The name Oshejra is a variant of Shayla. Oshejra is a demigod being raised since birth by Sospitas in Ysgard.

Runestar Foundation

The Runestar Foundation is a private organization based out of a unknown location said to be re-accumulating the lost books of the world that pose a threat to world safety if they were to fall into the wrong hands. The Foundation is not recognized by any established government. Contact with the Foundation can be established in the ferry town of Runestar Crossing. The leader of the Runestar Foundation is Byron Runestar.

SQUADRON is an independent anti-devil paramilitary force disliked by some rulers for their maverick stunts. They are generally well-regarded by the populace, although there are a few localities where SQUADRON is unwelcome due to the sheer amount of collateral damage they've caused previously.
